What can I do to protect my eyes?

According to the CDC, an estimated 93 million adults in the United States are at high risk for serious vision loss, but only half visited an eye doctor in the past 12 months. Taking care of your vision is important if you want to prevent sight loss or degeneration. Though visiting an optometrist regularly is important, there are also other steps you can take to protect your vision. We’ve created a checklist of actions and advice for preserving your eye health. Use this checklist to keep your vision safe, and protect your sight. Click here to download the Eye Health Checklist. #ProtectYourSight

What to Expect on Your First Visit
The patient procedure concerning paperwork and insurance is the same as for your normal eye doctor. At Retina Consultants, the patient’s pupil will be dilated and therefore you will need to arrange for a driver. This is true for all patients at all visits.
